ANSEL'S LONG SHOT
Ansel's tenure in space is coming to an end. He's been orbiting Venus, photographing and mapping this subject, the 'Evening Star, for nearly a decade. His mission operators are stationed at a point bound by Earth's influence, remotely and routinely monitoring him. What emerges during his decommission, stirs his human cohorts to act and ensure that his final sendoff is a graceful one.
MYTHOLOGY
THREE KINGSÂ IN-KIND
A world is depicted in which fantastical geometry and synchronicity are woven into a planet-wide culture. Three civilizations inhabit and equally share this land, each ruled by a king. Time is marked by the alignment of three moons; an event, precipitating a summit of the three kings. The terms for coexistence over the next epoch, must be renegotiated accordingly by a most unusual tradition. Here, an interplay between an abstract kind of magic, and relatable diplomatic realities, is coherently constructed.
